On the morning of May 11th, the opening ceremony of the photographic exhibition named “the Mongolian Female Figures---- a Series Activities of ‘the Famous Artists Coming into Campus’ to Celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Founding of the Inner Mongolian University” was held on the first floor of our library on south campus.
This photographic exhibition was jointly held by the Department of Culture of the Autonomous Region, Ethnic Affairs Commission, Mass Art Center, and Artistic Photography Academy. It was undertaken by the Publicity Department of Party Committee, library and the Faculty of Public Administration, demonstrating the photographic works of three Mongolian female photographers, Wu Yunna, Jin Hongxia, Wen Hui, who play active roles in the photographic field of the Autonomous Region.
Vice President Zhao Ji, executive president of the Inner Mongolian Artistic Photographic Academy Wang Yingkai, honorary chairman Che Guangzhao, vice-president Bao Yin, chairman Liu Yongsheng and vice chairman Zheng Chengshi of the Inner Mongolian Seniot Photographers Committee, principals of relevant departments and faculties in our college, teachers and students of the School of Literature and Journalism, as well as all the members of our college’s photographic association attended this opening ceremony.
The chief librarian of our library Liu Shi presided the opening ceremony. Director of the Publicity Department of Party Committee Li Weimin addressed on the ceremony. Professor Wu Yunna, as the representative of the artist made a speech on the ceremony.
What was demonstrated on the exhibition was not only the records of the three artists in recent years, the praises towards life, eulogy of hometown, but also a ceremonious gift to the 60th birthday of the Alma Mater.
